As a valued team member of Fiduciary Family Office, the Relationship Manager position serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. The ideal candidate will have several years of previous experience in this specific financial planner role, and the ability to take initiative in an organized, thoughtful approach. The position requires analytical, pro-active problem-solving skills with an attention to detail and a service excellence mindset. This is a support role to the business development team, therefore, NOT a sales role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced/Expert in Microsoft Excel, and proficient in other Microsoft Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- High proficiency in eMoney Advisor, Morningstar Advisor, Black Diamond/Advent
- Excellent communication skills with acute attention to detail
- Strong Financial Planning experience
- Strong knowledge of all types of investment vehicles and implementing asset allocation recommendation
- Experience with Charles Schwab custodial paperwork
- Prepare for client meetings having attention to detail on all items involved in the preparation
- Point of contact for client requests
- Have excellent time management and organizational skills with an ability to multi-task
- Diligent in seeing tasks/projects through to expedient execution
- Professional attitude and demeanor
- Excellent customer service and oral and written communication skills
- Personal integrity/honesty
Core Competencies:
- High desire to deliver service excellence
- Evaluate and assess timely completion of client deliverables
- Prepare client deliverables including but not limited to; financial statements, Excel reconciliations, performance reports, financial plans, guidebooks, legacy books, family-specific books, and other customized presentations
- Exhibit professional, articulate communication skills with each client interaction
- Under the direct oversight of the lead Advisor, actively engage in preparation of client meetings
- Provide recommendations and feedback relative to the clients financial plan as appropriate
- High level of computer literacy
- Must be comfortable with technology and the use of multiple software programs
Experience and Education:
- Certified Financial Planner™ Designation, CPA or CFA preferred
- A bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years related same work experience preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of investments and financial industry
