Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize eMoney, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint to provide detailed financial planning analysis. Actively participate in client meetings, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up on action items. Engage in client events to enhance client relations and service. Cross-train with colleagues to support critical functions within the firm.

Reporting Line:

  • Directly reporting to and mentored by Firm Principals.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. eMoney software experience is a plus. Strong analytical and quantitative abilities. Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to multi-task. Familiarity with planning concepts, taxes, and basic investment principles. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a small team setting.

Working Conditions:

  • In-person work environment (Galleria area Houston, TX). Standard workweek: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm M-Th and 8:00am-3:00pm F. Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and a 401(k) plan. A supportive team environment within a small office setting.

Employment Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States. Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning, Finance, or Accounting. CFP designation or currently pursuing it. Successful completion of a background check.
