Financial Planner & Investment Advisor

We are seeking a Certified Financial Planner™ to join our firm’s Wealth Management team. This role will lead all financial planning advisory services for our clients. The ideal candidate will also be able to assist with our firm’s trading operations, which includes investment selections and rebalances of our internal investment models.

Overall Responsibilities

• Consult with clients and advisors to create financial/retirement plans, applying a combination of investment, protection and retirement planning strategies
• Prosper, thrive and add value to a small team environment
• Help manage and maintain existing book of business – new business development is not required
• Service existing clients via financial planning, wealth management, and advisory services
• Research approved BD investments to provide input into the construction, maintenance and rebalancing of internal portfolios

Required Skills

• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
• Working knowledge of retirement planning software (i.e. MoneyGuide, RightCapital or other planning tools)
• Knowledge and previous use of trading platforms is preferred
• Understanding of the financial services industry, advisory solutions, financial planning, etc.
• Investment model maintenance, on-going research, rebalances, etc.
• Experience in supporting financial advisors is highly desired
• Proficient in MS Office, with working knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Redtail)
