Partners Wealth Management offers a personalized approach to uncovering financial solutions tailored to each client's individual needs. The role of Financial Advisor at PWM focuses on working with individuals, business owners, and not-for-profits in identifying their aspirations and goals and then developing and implementing the innovative strategies needed to help achieve them. He/she helps clients organize all aspects of their financial present and future and provides them with a peace of mind that comes with having a plan in place. Our Advisors have a fiduciary responsibility to function in the best interest of their clients and thrive on building genuine, long-term relationships. The Financial Advisor is further responsible for understanding firm policies, procedures and digital capabilities that will allow them to excel at serving their clients.


Duties and Responsibilities:


- Consult with clients on investment strategies based on individual financial and investment objectives, deliver advice, and participate in client reviews


- Identify asset retention opportunities, including viable alternatives when traditional solutions may not apply


- Work to develop asset allocations, case design and financial planning with and for clients


- Manage the five-step wealth management process


- Clearly articulate complex concepts to clients


- Meet with clients regularly to maintain and build rapport as well as determine if financial and insurance needs are being met and can be improved upon


- Cultivate new client relationships


- Facilitate eMoney administration

Education/Licensing Requirements:


- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field


- The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in the financial services industry allowing for a strong understanding of broker/dealer operations and financial services products, including but not limited to: equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance and managed accounts


- Previous experience in the independent financial services culture is preferred


- Previous experience with eMoney for data aggregation and financial planning preferred


- Series 7: FINRA General Securities Representative licensed


- Series 66: FINRA Uniform Combined Securities Agent and Investment Advisor State Law Exam licensed


- Licensed as an Illinois Life, Health and Disability Insurance Producer


- CFP preferred


- Must be willing to study for and pass additional federal and/or state exams relevant to the position
