Associate Wealth Advisor


This role is critical to our firm’s success in delivering timely and actionable advice as well as in cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships. The Associate Personal Wealth Advisor is responsible for developing financial plans and supporting senior advisors as they focus on client service and new business development. We offer a fee-only fiduciary environment focused on providing accurate and timely analysis to help our clients make important decisions life decisions.


This client-facing position offers substantial opportunity for continued growth, and engagement with our client base of high-net-worth individuals and families and independent high-net-worth women.


We are based in San Francisco; we offer remote work opportunities.




Work with the firm’s Personal Wealth Advisory team to accurately compile and enter data from client source documents and prepare preliminary financial planning reports based upon client goals and financial circumstances.

Create financial plans, under supervision, with a concentration on retirement/financial independence planning, investments, risk management and basic estate planning.

Data entry support and analysis of current investments using Morningstar software in order to help develop specific recommendations. Increase the scalability of the firm’s financial planning function by producing consistently high-quality work, utilizing established processes and adding to or refining them in order to improve efficiency and enhance overall client experience. Foster client respect and trust.


Bachelor’s degree required, related discipline preferred.

Newly-minted CFP® or in process of obtaining CFP® designation; this role reports directly to CFP® professionals and will qualify for expedited Apprenticeship CFP® experience qualification.

Recent Masters Degree in Financial Planning is a plus.

One to four years of experience in the investment industry. Experience working in a small financial planning/wealth management firm preferred.

Passed, or be able to pass, the Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination (Series 65) if no CFP® designation.

Highly organized and able to ramp up quickly.

A clear communicator with excellent listening skills and the ability to write in an engaging, concise manner.

Proficient in use of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Proficient in the use of financial planning software, MoneyGuidePro and Tamarac is a plus

Experienced in using Morningstar Advisor Workstation software.

Strongly self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.

Collaborative in work style, and excited about working in a small team environment.
