The Private Wealth Associate is responsible for the execution of all recommendations made for clients as they move through the financial planning process with the Private Wealth Advisor (Lead Advisor). They will also be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to enhance the overall client experience. The Private Wealth Associate will be innovative and solutions-oriented throughout their interactions.  By maintaining a high level of knowledge around Northwestern Mutual proprietary products along with monitoring global trends in planning and investing, the Private Wealth Associate can add valuable insights and suggestions to the team as well as for clients.

 

Responsibilities

 

·Client Management: oServe as the primary point of contact for client relationships after the prospect onboards oFinalize proposals and other client meeting materials received from Private Wealth Analyst oParticipate in initial plan delivery and plan implementation meetings with Private Wealth Advisor oResponsible for client implementation meetings oManage internal communications to ensure accuracy with regards to plan implementation items oProactive and reactive communication with the client through the implementation process oEvaluate Annual Review Meeting materials for opportunities and help prepare Private Wealth Advisor for Annual Review Meeting with the client oTrain and oversee Private Wealth Analysts oResponsible for execution and ongoing administration of NM Group business and 401(k) business ·Knowledge oPrivate Wealth Associate should be knowledgeable in the following areas, as well as keep up to date on current market commentary, macro and industry trends, and changes: oEstate Planning oBusiness Planning oCharitable Gifting oEducation Funding oRetirement Planning ·Communication/Presence oExcellent verbal and written communication skills oExcellent problem-solving skills oAbility to create and maintain systems for high volume of work, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment oStrong client service-oriented focus oTeam-oriented oConsistent follow-through
