Job Description:

Private Business Group seeks to fill a Closely Held Asset Manager/Specialty Asset Manager position, focused on the management of closely held assets held in fiduciary accounts.  This entails reviewing the performance, value and risks of such holdings.  The candidate will be working with assigned assets and be responsible for review of financial statements, perform equity analysis of value of privately held companies.   Candidate will also review the work of colleagues and assist department leadership in coaching other associates.

Job requirements
  • Candidate must have a bachelors degree in a finance related field. 
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years directly related experience.
  • Must have a strong understanding of business valuation and a demonstrated ability to review valuation work product and determine its credibility.
  • Demonstrated history in managing closely held assets with an understanding of the fiduciary and economic impacts of investment decisions. 
  • Senior accredited business valuation certification strongly preferred.  ASA or ABV designation strongly preferred.
