Business Management
The Business Management job is responsible for providing strategic support for the assigned business area. Under minimal supervision, this job executes strategic business management consulting to leaders by analyzing metrics and presentations to support business strategies, driving business management policies and routines, and being a point of contact for leaders in the execution of business management tasks.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Generates complex metrics and drafts and reviews reports in assigned functional business area to inform decisions on tactical issues that impact the business.
  • Implements policies and procedures in support of the business area strategy.
  • Implements process improvements in the assigned business area.
  • Analyzes and reports on area data (financial, headcount, etc.) and performance metrics.
  • Supports business management projects by documenting risks, issues and action items.
  • Drives meeting planning in support of business projects and objectives.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred

This Business Manager will be responsible for supporting business management needs of the Wealth Management’s Operations and Trust businesses. This role reports into the Senior Director, Business Manager who supports the Head of the Wealth Management Operations and President/CEO of the Trust business. Scope of work will include, but is not limited to:

  • Coordination and logistical planning for large meeting (e.g., town hall meetings, offsites)
  • Evaluation and interpretation of employee engagement survey results followed by action plan creation and tracking of progress
  • Coordinating and executing employee engagement events
  • Leading and/or participating in special projects
  • Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of business management or related experience
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business management or related experience
  • Able to take direction and execute without follow-up
  • Able to handle competing priorities and/or comfortable asking manager for help prioritizing
  • Escalates risk and issues timely
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic project management/coordination skills
  • Teams/SharePoint management skills

Base Pay Range: $70,500/yr. - $145,500/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
