WHO are we looking for? 

CAPTRUST is seeking a Financial Planner who will deliver high-level customer service to clients to the firm.  A competitive salary is offered for this role as well as expanding responsibilities with a rapidly growing firm. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others: This position does not require sales and compensation is not commission based.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Manage, coordinate, gather, and execute projects, requests, reports, due diligence, action items, etc. related to client service, client meetings, and client reviews
  • Coordinate client meetings and calls to collect information for financial planning projects and input information into financial planning software
  • Prepare for client meetings (solo or with senior advisors) by seeking centralized resources and expertise to deliver investment performance, market updates, economic forecasts, and other topical information to clients
  • Implement changes, adjustments, portfolio rebalance, recommendations, transitions, etc. of client portfolios with CAPTRUST’s research and trading teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel
  • Four-year college degree
  • CFP or required to successfully pass and obtain the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within 24 months of hire date

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Ability to review, research, interpret, and discuss investment, financial, macroeconomic and security specific data with Senior Advisors and clients
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate information to a financially sophisticated audience
  • Prioritization skills, multi-task skills, able to manage many time-sensitive tasks simultaneously
