Thompson Wealth Management, a leading wealth management firm dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals, is seeking an experienced Client Service Lead Associate to join our team. In this senior role, you will lead our client services team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and the development of strong client relationships. Your leadership will be critical in driving the success and growth of our client services function.

Responsibilities & Activities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing client services team, fostering a culture of excellence and client-centric service.
  • Oversee and manage all client service operations, ensuring efficient handling of in-bound and out-bound calls, appointment scheduling, and account paperwork processing.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance client service delivery and improve client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate the execution of investment management strategies and trading activities, ensuring timely and accurate implementation.
  • Collaborate with lead advisors and senior management to streamline client meeting preparation, note-taking, and follow-up actions.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless experience and strict adherence to compliance policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients' other advisors (CPA, Attorney, Insurance agent) to ensure a coordinated approach to client service.
  • Stay abreast of industry software integrations and platforms to continually improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive the development and implementation of client service initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Maintain accurate client records and oversee the processing of client service requests, ensuring data integrity in the CRM system.
  • Plan and execute client events, ensuring their success and alignment with client engagement strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing ongoing feedback and coaching to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the firm.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong proficiency with Google Suite and familiarity with financial software platforms.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
  • FINRA Series 7, 66 or 65 certification is required.
  • Positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new software and technology.
  • Experience with Charles Schwab custodial platform.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products and industry regulations.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in finance or business administration.
  • Additional certifications in financial planning or wealth management.
