Overall Function
A Financial Planning & Operations Associate specializes in internal operations management, client service of investment based products, and ensuring the maintenance of an efficient and compliant office. This role is Full-Time and in office/hybrid, dependent on licensing and successful completion of initial training. This role is dynamic, with specific responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Maintain/process client files
- Input data, generate investment proposals, and preparation for client/prospect meeting
- Engage in client onboarding, and servicing needs Communicate with home office to supply or obtain information
- Develop and execute cross-selling plans for non-securities products
- Meet with clients to complete investment account related applications
- Process incoming securities related requests from clients
Required Qualifications/Licensing
- 3 years + industry experience
- FINRA Series 7
- Florida 2-15 Life and Health License (or obtained within 90 days of offer acceptance)
- Successful completion of federal background check
Preferred Qualifications/Licensing
- 5 years + industry experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Designations including, but not limited to, CLU®, ChFC®, RICP®, CFP®
Required Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to practice active listening and communicate in a direct manner
- Ability to manage multiple diverse projects and assignments in a timely and quality manner
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
