Position Summary

Noviello Financial Group, a successful financial planning and wealth management firm located in Bridgewater, NJ, is seeking a Financial Planning Associate. Our small size and broad scope gives you the opportunity to learn and grow in this highly sought after HNW segment while greatly impacting our clients’ lives.  You will be part of a great team while supporting HNW client families with strategy formulation, analytics, financial plan preparation and presentations, and related wealth management activities.

General Duties

  • Administer financial planning strategies, data analysis and plan preparation for HNW clients and their families.
  • Work directly with clients for data gathering, presenting solutions, and service support.
  • Utilize eMoney  to create financial plans, host account aggregation, and support document vault services.
  • Model cash flow projections, budgeting, debt pay-off strategies, and what-if scenario evaluations.
  • Support Brokerage and Investment Advisory strategies through portfolio analysis, trades, due diligence, proposals and marketing.
  • Create Insurance strategies and provide analysis, proposals, marketing, and service support.
  • Engage in Income Tax planning and support internal tax team in Income Tax Return preparation.
  • Coordinate with NFG’s strategic partners to identify strategies, products, and services that benefit the clients.
  • Analyze executive compensation plans and model competing alternative offers.
  • Explore and deploy Estate, Legacy, and Charity planning strategies, guidance and support tools.
  • Remain current on new developments, trends, practices and regulations in the financial planning, investment, insurance, tax and estate planning areas.

Minimum Requirements and Capabilities

Minimum 3 years of financial planning or investment focused work experience. Candidates should be Series 7 securities licensed, or to be willing/able to study and gain the Series 7 or other financial credentials promptly.  CFP designation is a plus.

  • Extreme commitment to confidentiality, ethics and integrity.
  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Financial Planning or Finance/Investment Services.
  • Knowledge of financial planning strategies, products, and services for HNW clientele.
  • Experience with eMoney or other financial planning software a plus.
  • Income Tax planning and preparation experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Highly attentive to details and accuracy, timeliness, a positive attitude, support of management, client service, and a willingness to embrace the firm's values and mission.
  • Strong PC and Microsoft Suite skills, internet applications and research, and comfort with new technologies.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in an office environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Energetic, eager to learn, team oriented, hardworking, efficient and works with a sense of urgency.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently, with a team, or under an advisor’s direction.
  • Physical requirements include sitting for extended periods of time, lifting and moving office files and supplies, and operating office machines and technology.  Personal vehicle use at times.
  • Recommended commute time under 30 minutes.
