Overview
The primary responsibility of the Financial Advisor (FA) is to expertly deliver the firm’s core services with minimal supervision. Specifically, FAs design, create, review, and present financial plan and investment recommendations to existing clients. FAs will not be expected to develop new client relationships or serve as a marketing representative for the firm, but they do help close prospective clients who are referred to the company or generated by Senior Advisors. FAs must have the CFP® designation and over three years’ experience working as a financial advisor or in a related profession. FAs must be familiar with and fluent in a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures. They rely on professional experience and extensive judgment to help our clients maximize their quality of life by using financial planning and investment management. FAs have advanced interpersonal skills and are talented communicators. They listen with empathy and ask good questions. They are responsible for delivering solutions, not mechanically completing tasks.
FAs provide technical financial planning and investment management advice to clients. They have lead responsibility for gathering complete and accurate client data, researching creative financial planning solutions, inputting data into financial planning software, and delivering logical, relevant financial plans. FAs are obligated to make continual incremental improvements in the financial planning process to maximize value to the client while balancing cost to the firm.
