We counsel a select group of individuals, families, foundations and endowments. As a fiduciary, we serve as an advocate for our clients, providing objective advice and comprehensive guidance across all aspects of our clients’ financial lives.


Position Summary: As the Senior Client Education Associate, you will be responsible for building out the firm’s financial literacy presentations and programs. This includes researching different options for explaining financial concepts, direct creation and formatting of content and visual materials including articles/blogs, infographics, long and short format videos and Power Point materials for in-person and virtual presentations.


We’re looking for an individual who is self-motivated, constantly curious on new ways to demonstrate/model and relay wealth and finance concepts and who is willing to roll up their sleeves to handle all aspects of new content development, formatting and roll out. We also want someone who enjoys teaching and has strong presentation skills.


Responsibilities
• Supports Head of Client Education in ongoing buildout of service line.
• Key focus on the broadening of financial literacy learning options and materials including:
o Extend current coursework and curriculum
o Development of multiple format options – self-study, set timeframe classes, one-on-one customized sessions
o Directly write and produce articles and videos on a wide range of financial literacy topics
• Oversee website organization, structure and delivery of educational content
• Ability to customize core content modules to address specific client concerns. This may include updating chart data to reflect a client’s situation, combining concepts from different modules to address a particular question, simplify or expand on a visual concept explanation based on audience starting point, etc.
• Research and attends/views financial educational programming from external sources to generate new ideas for graphically translating concepts and improvement of Altair content.
• Research educational options for content that we can white label.
• Ability to meet with clients outside of standard office hours.
• Assists with the preparation, production and assembly of Altair educational program and event materials.
• Reviews and updates Altair educational modules on a regular basis to make sure information is up to date with any regulatory changes.
• Organize and oversee internal process for access to finalized content modules.
• Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in the wealth management/financial services field
• Strong presentation abilities, enjoys teaching
• CFP preferred but not required
• Highly proficient in presentation design using PowerPoint
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud design programs and Canva
• Proficient in the use of other Microsoft (MS) Office applications, particularly MS Excel and Word
• Superb organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Self-starter; strong work ethic; able to work with minimum supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team player
• Has the ability to manage multiple tasks; ability to establish priorities
• Appreciates the level of professionalism required in a financial services firm
