Description
We are looking for an experienced Wealth Advisor that can provide comprehensive financial planning advice, retirement planning solutions and investment management services to our clients. This person will play an integral part on the team. Advisors are responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with our existing client base and developing relationships with new clients and prospects. You will work within a collaborative team environment, partnering with internal resources to serve client needs and goals. You will have support from a client service team that includes a Certified Financial Paraplanner as well as state-of-the-art retirement planning tools and software to help you deliver advice to our clients. This individual will adhere to fiduciary standards, professional ethics as well as legal and regulatory requirements while acting in the best interest of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Create financial plans, investment strategies and provide specific advice for clients of various ages and backgrounds
  • Educate and provide information to clients about the purpose and details of financial services, strategies and products
  • Communicate with clients by phone, email, in-person and Zoom
  • Meet at least annually with existing clients for planning meetings
  • Coordinate money movement, strategy changes and paperwork for existing clients and prospects
  • Participate in weekly staff and daily morning meetings
  • Work jointly with operations team and others to ensure an exceptional client experience
  • Maintain all continuing education requirements for the CFP® Certification, IAR renewal as well as for any additional required training
  • Research investment products as a member of the Investment Committee
  • Assist with other duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the office

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification required
  • Series 65 Securities License required (or must be able to be obtained within 90 days of employment)
  • Understanding of financial planning and investment research tools such as MorningStar, Redtail CRM and eMoney Advisor
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and extraordinary client service orientation
  • Professional demeanor
  • Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with all team members of the company
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Business Development Skills
