Join a boutique financial planning firm with the unique opportunity to learn and grow in a collaborative, client-focused environment. As an Associate Financial Planner, you will gain a broad array of financial planning and client relationship skills while working directly with a seasoned senior advisor—a 36-year veteran of financial services and an educator at both the senior and graduate levels.

In this role, you will be involved in every aspect of the financial planning process, including:

  • Client Engagement & Data Collection: Work with clients and prospective clients to gather financial data, assess their needs, and understand their long-term goals.
  • Plan Preparation: Prepare comprehensive financial plans and present findings to the senior advisor. Collaborate to refine strategies and recommendations to improve client outcomes.
  • Quantitative Analysis & Financial Strategies: Perform quantitative analysis to evaluate financial scenarios, assess risk tolerance, and identify opportunities for enhancing clients' financial well-being.
  • Client Communication: Communicate directly with clients, fostering trust and providing guidance as needed throughout the planning process.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with developing fee estimates, obtaining client agreements, and ensuring that all stages of the financial planning process are completed in a timely and compliant manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field (CFP or progress toward designation preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Desire to learn, collaborate, and grow within the field of financial planning.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop a deep understanding of financial planning while working in a close-knit, supportive team environment.
