Altfest Personal Wealth Management, a leading independent Wealth Management firm based in NYC, is seeking a Financial Advisor to formulate and implement comprehensive investment and financial planning advice, manage existing client relationships, and participate in new business development strategies.
We place the client at the core of everything we do. This role is ideal for someone who values a fee-only based approach, which replaces commissions with the client’s best interest.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for a number of the firm’s clients.
- Drive clients’ financial planning strategies and portfolio management with a comprehensive approach inclusive of investments, cash flow, tax, estates, risk management and benefit plans.
- Review a client’s current investments and objectives and provide a custom portfolio within the firm’s guidelines.
- Opportunity to specialize in a technical area including but not limited to:
- Investments: participate on the firm’s investment committee and cover a segment of the investment universe.
- Financial Planning: option to specialize in one area of financial planning serving as the firm’s internal subject matter expert.
- Business Development: Work cross-departmentally to drive business strategies.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Wealth Management with a demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, fee-only is a plus!
- CFP®
- Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university
- Passion for fee-only Financial Planning and Wealth Management
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify difficult financial concepts to educate a less experienced audience
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Team player and collaborative
- Of the highest integrity
- Maintain a “client-first” mentality
Requirements:
- Altfest Personal Wealth Management requires all employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. To be fully vaccinated, employees must obtain the first dose of a two-dose vaccine or obtain one dose of a single vaccine.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation Range: $130,000- $150,000 base (excluding potential incentives) commensurate with experience. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
