SUMMARY: Kestra Financial seeks a new team member to join our Planning Group, a valuable competence center within Kestra. The Planning Group, part of the Wealth Management Division, will provide centralized, outsourced planning for approximately 1500 advisors nationally at Kestra and Bluespring. This role will serve as an analyst to the team and work closely with Financial Professionals in gathering data, creating, editing, and delivering financial plans to advisors. The analyst will work to provide research on planning specific projects for our clients, assist with intellectual capital and thought leadership, and, most importantly, contribute to the planning culture and community at Kestra.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Analyst can expect to focus on the following areas:
- Gather, organize, and develop client data within a financial planning context Prepare client financial plans and presentations for review by Advisors Manage data entry and presentation development for client meetings that pertain to financial planning Attend client meetings in a technical, supporting, and learning role Analyze and provide research for planning industry trends, intellectual capital, technological advances in the planning field, and some advanced planning. Client relationship management support, including ongoing and regular client contact and communications Track and cross-reference planning data through internal systems
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES
Qualified applicants will have the following attributes:
- Strong attention to detail, process-driven, time management Ability to multi-task, understand, and execute priorities High self/ other awareness and working within a team Leads with curiosity and desire always to be learning Ability to spend large amounts of time on the micro, contributing to the macro-environment Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and ability to quickly learn new software Experience working with Emoney, MoneyGuide, or other planning software is preferred

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree 1-3 years experience in the finance industry preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:
- Required: CFP education component completed Preferred: CFP designation Series 7 preferred Series 65 preferred
