As an Advisor Support Specialist, you'll be helping to improve the lives of our clients and the well-being of their financial picture with solutions, education, and advice. This specialist manages a portfolio of family and business clients by maintaining relationships and providing financial advice with a focus on client experience and risk management. Csenge Advisory Group is looking for a specialist to support our business development efforts and deepen existing relationships for our clients. Additionally, they are responsible for the completion of the essential duties and responsibilities outlined below:

 

Success as a Advisor Support Specialist looks like:

 

  • Provide the best client advice and service while developing relationships to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Regular communication with existing clients to discuss service or planning related needs.
  • Strive to build and enhance relationship with existing clients to help build wallet share.
  • Outbound communication with existing and prospective clients to gather information needed for advisor meetings.
  • Identify new processes and best practices necessary to effectively maintain and build relationships with clients and prospects.

 

 

Advisor Support & Paraplanning Responsibilities:

  • The Advisor Support Specialist position will focus on servicing, engaging, building, and strengthening the client base for which they are responsible for supporting.
  • Assist Wealth Advisors with building client financial, retirement, tax, and estate plans.
  • Update existing Wealth Plans with new data from client review meetings and financial updates.
  • Coordinate with clients CPA, Attorney, and other business professionals to streamline the Wealth Planning Process
  • Maintain relationships with clients and key personnel.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and servicing of clients.
  • Lead end – to – end onboarding and maintenance of new and existing clients: sending out new paperwork, collecting contra-firm account statements and completing account transfers.
  • Facilitate client (plan sponsor), and participant inquiries and service requests in a proactive manner.
  • Meet with clients to conduct plan review meetings/presentations, on an “as-needed” basis.
  • Meetings (if applicable) will be held primarily in a remote setting, although on-site meetings may be required.
  • Manage pre and post client meeting tasks: preparation of meeting material, post-review meeting minutes, plan amendments, fund changes etc.
  • Dedicated operational and sales support to Advisors. Attend client events to enhance relationship.  

 

Client Service & Operational Responsibilities:

  • Complete applications and paperwork with clients, reviewing for completeness and accuracy.
  • Reconcile ACATs with received positions.
  • Answer client questions regarding accounts, funds, and policies; deliver policies.
  • Arrange client withdrawals, wire instructions, check requests and ACH debits/credits.
  • Process beneficiary changes. Follow-up on client services needs.
  • Ongoing client contact and communications.
  • Dividend and capital gains changes.
  • Check advisory accounts for quarterly fees.
  • Client Contribution, Distribution, and Financial Transfer assistance
  • Process change of address.
  • Change of beneficiary requests – Investment accounts and Insurance policies.
  • Bank draft changes – Investment accounts and insurance policies.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree. CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation or currently studying for the CFP® Minimum three (3) years in the financial services industry Appropriate licenses and designations for position, or willing to obtain (MUST obtain Series 7 within 45-days of employment) Excellent ability to master new programs & technology. Experience with Wealth Planning Software Experience with Wealthbox, Orion, and other wealth management software is preferred. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Attention to detail with ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong knowledge of database concepts
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
