BFS Advisory Group is seeking a Client Service Representative (CSR) for our team. BFS Advisory Group is a boutique Dallas firm, backed by NewEdge Advisors. We offer sophisticated, goal-based wealth planning for our broad family of clients. The CSR will be instrumental in assisting the team in executing on client needs, from money movement to meeting preparation, account maintenance, and direct client service. The CSR will be responsible for supporting the Client Service, Financial Planning, and Investment teams for ongoing and as-needed tasks. The ideal candidate has exemplary time management skills and the ability to anticipate the clients’ and team’s needs, and is expected to maintain confidentiality in client financial, legal, personnel and institutional information, while exercising professionalism and discretion.

The CSR will work directly with BFS Advisory Group’s Wealth Advisors and the entire team of credentialed wealth management professionals dedicated to serving our clients.  The ideal candidate will reinforce and advance the BFS Advisory Group brand through creating a superb client experience, being a strong team player, and consistently providing superior service.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate complete confidentiality in all client and firm dealings
  • Provide the highest level of client service and care in all areas
  • Function as team support for financial advisors
  • Prepare documents for recommendations made for clients
  • Prepare for client meetings and deliver documents
  • Assist in the process to onboard new clients
  • Research investments as needed
  • Provide operational support and general support of the financial planning, client service, and investment teams
  • Participate in team projects to improve efficiency and quality of client service
  • Utilize electronic systems such as Redtail, Microsoft Office, E-Money, Holistiplan and document management programs
  • Represent the company to clients and all third parties
  • Assist with compliance procedures, requirements, and filings File documents and records according to protocols and regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Series 7, 63 / 65, or 66 required
  • CFP Preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operational or client service role
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills and active listening skills
  • High proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and the ability to utilize new technology with ease 
  • Ability to maintain professional image and project our values and culture with clients, colleagues, vendors, and other third-party contacts
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Fanatical attention to detail and excellent follow through
  • Strong collaboration skills and adept at building relationships with other team members, clients, prospective clients, and external resources
  • Passion to continue learning and improving
  • Confident self-starter who can be successful with minimal supervision and enjoys a fast-paced environment
  • Resourceful, energetic nature
  • Passionate about excellence; driven to excel with a desire to be a key piece of a successful team
