Job Description:

The Job/What You'll Do:
The Advisor Services Team provides support to Financial Advisors on new client and account set-up procedures and issues, in addition to account change request support and tracking. The Advisor Services Team also provides administrative training and website usability support. The Advisor Services Team Leader is responsible for managing a team or teams of Advisor Services staff.
We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Phoenix, AZ office.

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $70,000-$75,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Coach, mentor and develop team members
- Promote ownership and accountability at all levels
- Assess RM's areas of development and providing opportunities for development
- Deliver Quarterly Performance Scorecards for direct reports
- Execute "hands on" training as required
- Understand long-term career aspirations of each team member in order to coach them appropriately
- Make hiring and firing recommendations for your team
- Delegate responsibilities and tasks appropriately
- Service Excellence / Process Improvements
- Continually evaluate departmental processes for improvement opportunities
- Lead Relationship Building Initiatives to drive RM recognition/ratings, and deepen relationships, particularly with largest advisor relationships
- Consider risk and manage it with appropriate communication and actions
- Provide exceptional service to our Financial Advisors and Internal Customers
- Develop strong and trusting relationships with Advisors and Sales members
- Assist with escalations and resolution to Customer Experience (CE)
- Deliver on team Service Level
- Lead projects to improve processes and develop new services
- Collaborates with Process Excellence team to most effectively manage service team
- Continually evaluate departmental processes for improvement opportunities
- Work with other Managed Money departments and managers to request, manage and implement solutions
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be comfortable exercising judgment, evaluating a situation and making a decision
- Able to travel between geographical locations
- Flexibility to work various schedules depending on department needs
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 5 years financial services industry experience required
