We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paid Intern to join our team as a Relationship Manager.
This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in the financial services industry while equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to succeed. Outstanding performance during the internship may lead to an offer to join our Financial Advisor in Training Role, a comprehensive full-time career track.
Role Overview
As a Paid Intern in this role, you will support the Financial Advisor team and learn the foundational aspects of wealth management, client relations, and firm operations. You will serve as a key point of contact for client service needs, assist with onboarding and account management, and gain exposure to firm operations and marketing.
The internship provides training and development across operational tasks, relationship management, and industry-specific tools, positioning you for potential advancement into a full-time Financial Advisor in Training role after 90 days.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and support the client onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
- Document client interactions and provide timely updates to the team.
- Assist in preparing for and participating in client meetings, including account performance reviews.
- Gain hands-on experience with CRM software, client notes, and follow-ups to deliver exceptional service.
- Support firm operations, including opening and transferring accounts, money movement, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with specialists to address client needs and ensure the highest levels of client satisfaction.
- Assist with social media marketing and branding initiatives to expand firm visibility.
- Learn the client offboarding process and the importance of risk management in wealth management services.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- A passion for building client relationships and learning the wealth management industry.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Interest in pursuing a long-term career in financial advising or wealth management.
- Basic understanding of social media and marketing tools (preferred).
Internship Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (40 hours per week).
