Job Details
Boardwalk Financial Strategies, a dynamic and growing wealth management firm, is seeking a highly motivated Associate Wealth Manager to join our team and support our mission of helping clients align their values, goals and wealth.
The Associate Wealth Manager plays a pivotal role in servicing and retaining client relationships, working closely with our Wealth Managers to deliver comprehensive, highly personalized financial advice.

Responsibilities & Activities
- Assist with the development, presentation and implementation of customized financial plans, investment proposals, and performance reviews to clients.
- Service client needs and requirements through in-person and virtual client interactions.
- Ensure prompt and comprehensive follow-up after client meetings.
- Input and maintain accurate client data in financial planning software and client records.
- Monitor client accounts and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain a high level of client service through regular communication to address questions, resolve issues, and deliver unique ideas for their needs.
- Assist with the implementation and rebalancing of investment portfolios as necessary, including approved trades.
- Keep up to date on industry trends, news, regulatory changes, and other relevant information.
- Participate in meetings, training, networking events, and continuing education requirements.
- Must be willing to occasionally travel to Chicago area and within Wisconsin for client meetings, as needed. Some of this travel may be outside of normal business hours.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Personal Finance, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related
- 0-2 years of experience in wealth management, personal finance or other related fields
- Completion or progress towards a CFP® (Certified Financial Planner)
- Other planning credentials (CPA, EA, etc.) a plus!
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience working with Redtail, eMoney, and Black Diamond would be helpful
