Role Overview: 

Urban Wealth Management Group (UWM) is seeking a driven and experienced Independent Financial Planner (1099) to join our network. As an independent contractor, you will work closely with UWM to provide expert financial planning services to our referred clients. This is a fee-based opportunity with significant earning potential, offering flexible work hours and the ability to grow your practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Engagement: You will receive referrals from UWM and work directly with prospective clients to provide financial planning services tailored to their needs.
  • Financial Planning Services: Conduct consultations, create comprehensive financial plans, offer investment strategies, retirement solutions, and other financial advisory services.
  • Program Sales: Present and sell UWM’s financial planning programs ranging from $3,500 to $12,000 to prospective clients.

Compensation:

  • Fee-Based: You will earn a percentage of the total program fees from each client you acquire and serve

  • Program Fees: Programs range from $3,500 to $12,000 depending on the services rendered.

  • Payout Percentage: You will receive a payout percentage ranging from 60% to 90% of the program fee, based on the specific program and agreement made.

Example: For a $5,000 program, with a 70% payout, you will earn $3,500 for each client acquired and serviced.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a financial planner or advisor.
  • Strong sales and client relationship-building skills.
  • Series 65 or equivalent state licensing (preferred).
  • Certified Financial Planner designation (Required)
  • Knowledge of financial planning, investment strategies, retirement solutions, and tax planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
