We are searching for the very best person to be our Director of Client Services. Our ideal candidate is an experienced financial services professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is adept at serving our high-relationship clientele.

This position is practice-wide in its scope, focus and responsibility. You will be responsible to resolve the majority of client service issues that arise day to day, proactively navigate client service initiatives for the firm -- migration to advisory (fee-based) brokerage accounts, RMDs and 529 accounts as examples.  You will also manage / coordinate the annual client review meetings, oversee account features and affect "service-related" trades for the firm.

In this very hands-on role, the Director of Client Services must be fully dedicated, professional in appearance and mannerisms, genuinely caring, able to supervise / train support staff and have a willingness to serve as a contributing key team member. Our Director of Client Services is also expected to be a servicing financial advisor -- fully appointed as a registered representative and investment advisor representative of Commonwealth Financial Network on or before their second anniversary with Clarion.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities include a strong work ethic, client service orientation, superior attention to detail, excellent multi-tasking abilities and work-flow habits, outstanding time management skills, flexibility, adaptability and the ability to receive and give delegation while coordinating with others to meet business deadlines. A high level of competency using Microsoft software, comfort in learning / employing new technology, excellent communication (phone etiquette, verbal and written) skills and the ability to think fast and drive to solutions are required.

This is a full-time salaried position (DOE and caliber) with bonus opportunities. In addition, variable compensation is available as an assistant financial advisor (timeframe noted above). 401k with immediate vesting and group health, dental and vision insurance available. Clarion is an equal opportunity employer.

Please utilize a cover letter and resume (include a salary history) when applying. No phone calls or faxes.

Minimum of 5 years experience in the financial services industry is required. FINRA s7, s66 and Virginia L/H (with variable) are also requirements for this position.
