We are an established, independent, SEC-registered RIA firm servicing clients in southwestern Pennsylvania. Our main office is in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.  We are in the wealth management business focusing on providing common sense, individualized financial planning and intelligent investment management to high net worth individuals, families, and for profit and not for profit organizations. We have been servicing our current market niche for over 25 years. 

 We are currently expanding our team to support the growth of our clients as well as increase the adoption of new technologies.  Specifically, we require an ENTRY LEVEL team member to support the growth of our financial planning business and back office.

 Position:

Associate Financial Planner

 Position Summary:

Hired candidate will be primarily responsible for:

  • Assisting in client document on-boarding and related services,
  • Ensuring operational efficiencies through the use of internal software and systems,
  • Assisting in regulatory compliance tracking and reporting,
  • Inputting and reporting on provided financial planning data,
  • Managing our technology stack and driving process improvements,
  • Developing spreadsheets for use in financial planning and investment management,
  • Supporting on-going client servicing,
  • Support business growth and other growth initiatives,
  • Performing guided investment research and
  • Producing and collating quarterly client reports and presentations.

 Position Expectations:

Success in the position will be measured by ability to generate error-free client facing work and error-free internal reports and analyses.  Success will be further determined by ability to grasp, adopt and effectively communicate the firm’s strategy, philosophy and process.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting from an accredited four-year college program.
  • 0-2 years of experience.
  • Some working knowledge of investments across asset classes and the desire to learn more.
  • Awareness of basic financial planning issues related to managing wealth.
  • Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and personal commitment to quality.
  • Ability to complete work in a timely, accurate and thorough manner.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong computing skills and proficiency with centralized software systems.
  • Team player with a strong desire to continuously learn.
  • Comfortable working in a small business environment with a small dedicated, professional team.
