PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The financial advisor assuming this role will be responsible for servicing existing and new client relationships as part of a team structure. Responsibilities will extend to reviewing client portfolios, conducting investment research, participating on the Investment Committee, developing financial plans, coordinating client service requirements and general client relationship management.

SageVest places a strong emphasis on financial planning. As such, the construction of financial plans is a key element of the position. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM designation with at least seven (7) years of experience is required for all candidates. Additionally, at least seven (7) years of investment management experience is required.

The advisor will be required to participate in business development initiatives, working on independent initiatives as well as part of collaborative company initiatives.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for success.



EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree

CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM designation

Minimum of seven (7) years of financial advisory experience

Series 65 preferred, or required within 3 months of employment

Clean background check

REQUIRED SKILLS

Ability to create and present financial plans to clients

In depth knowledge of investments with the ability manage investment portfolios, explain investments to clients and guide clients in making investment decisions relative to their best interests.

Experience in managing investment account functions

Portfolio management system experience

CRM system experience

Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Ability to multi-task

Acute attention to detail

Professional written and verbal communication skills
