The Financial Advisory Group, an independent financial services provider based in York, Pa., has an immediate opening for a Financial Planner. We have developed an approach that provides families with a clear path toward important lifetime financial goals and seek a qualified, degreed professional to join our team.
Qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, CFP credential or current CFP candidate, proficiency with Microsoft Office and 2+ years’ relevant experience. This position will support the operational needs of our growing advisory practice and will serve in a support role to handle research, portfolio analysis, client communication and, over time, financial plan development. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical skills, be detail-oriented and have excellent written and verbal skills.
Responsibilities will include:
* Maintain existing client relationships and develop new client relationships
* Participate in preparation of client financial plans
* Conduct portfolio analysis and strategy research
* Lead and support client meetings
* Support portfolio management and trading operations
* Support business related to staff and vendors
