Job Summary

Cinergy Financial is seeking an experienced financial advisor with a book of business for our Tustin, CA office.  The successful candidate will be energetic and willing to learn.  You will work in a client-focused, team-centered environment under the supervision of the chief advisor.  The firm will develop markets and provide lead sources as well as an office space and on the job training.  The perfect candidate will be insurance licensed and registered.  Must possess a Series 7, or be willing to obtain one within the first 6 months of employment.  Our candidate has had a successful track record in meeting with prospects and converting those people into clients. 


Essential Job Functions for the Client Advisor will include:

  • Prospect for potential clients
  • Meeting and contacting new potential clients to discuss financial concerns and needs
  • Conducting information gathering meetings with clients
  • Ensure retention of the firm’s clients as well as generating referrals
  • Learn & adopt the Cinergy Financial sales process
  • Present potential solutions using our world class suite of products and services
  • Manage client communications and follow-up with clients
  • Ensure adherence to company standards of net new asset growth and retention
  • Generate leads by engaging personal centers of influence

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Minimum 3 years of client-facing investment experience
  • Must possess a Series 7 , with a clean U4
  • Sales aptitude and experience is required
  • Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and analytical skills
  • Proven time management and organizational skills in a high volume, high energy environment
  • Strong knowledge of and the ability to present investment, finance, insurance, and tax planning concepts
  • Must be a humble, entrepreneurial, hardworking team player with a positive, “can do” attitude
  • Strong computer aptitude with proficiency inMS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn quickly and efficiently
  • Must be self-motivated with a good work ethic, and have demonstrated the discipline to work independently
